April 2026: Subject: 🕯️ Witches Were Right — And So Were You

Hi you,

I’ve been sitting with how to begin this… and the truth is, there isn’t a perfect way.

So I’m starting here:

Welcome to Witches Were Right.

This isn’t just a newsletter.
It’s a space for the things we weren’t supposed to say out loud.
The things that lived in our bodies long before we had language for them.

The quiet questions.
The complicated feelings.
The truths that didn’t fit inside “good girl,” “good mother,” or “good woman.”

🌙 Why This Exists

At some point, many of us were taught—directly or indirectly—that:

Our bodies were too much… or not enough.
Our desire was dangerous.
Our needs were inconvenient.
Our voice was something to soften.

And we learned.

We adapted.

We became what we needed to be to stay safe, loved, or accepted.

But somewhere in that process…
we lost pieces of ourselves.

This space is about finding them again.

🔥 A Word You’ll Hear Here: WitchConception

There’s a name for the beliefs that were handed to you but never questioned:

WitchConception.

The stories about your body, your sexuality, your worth—
that were shaped by culture, religion, and power…
and then lived inside you like they were truth.

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “Something is wrong with me”

  • “I shouldn’t feel this way”

  • “Why can’t I just be normal?”

That might not be you.

That might be WitchConception.

🌿 What We’re Doing Here

This isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about unlearning what was never yours to carry.

Here, we’ll talk about:

  • Religious trauma and sexuality

  • Shame and the nervous system

  • Desire, especially in long-term relationships

  • Motherhood, caregiving, and identity

  • The things we think but don’t say

Gently. Honestly. Without pretending it’s easy.

✨ A Question to Sit With This Week

Not to solve.
Not to rush.

Just to notice:

What belief about your body or your desire have you always assumed was true…
but never actually chose?

🕯️ Before You Go

You don’t have to read everything.
You don’t have to agree with everything.

Take what feels like truth.
Leave what doesn’t.

Come back when you’re ready.

Next, we’ll go deeper into where these beliefs come from—
and how they follow us into our relationships, our intimacy, and the quiet spaces of our lives.

Until then—

Stay curious.
Stay honest.
And remember:

Witches were never the problem.
